I know one thing, if I ever make my R/T a track only ride, the stocker style transmission is coming out. Than a 727 or 904 is going in place, so more power can make it to the back wheels. Dan

Yeah i could more to the wheels with a 904 or 727 but I want to keep this one a street toy.I'm gonna put the A/C back on it here soon and enjoy cruising it to the track and car shows. It would be sweet to drive to the track with the A/C on,click off some 10 second E.T.s and then drive home in comfort.
The cam is healthy and likes the top end now,I ran my buddy's firehawk last night from a 60 and pulled his ass hard to 140+ very happy.

That was Tony at HP performance using the X-cal II sct tuner.

How much did you pick up over the B&G flash?

not sure the BG flash was meant for my old set-up,but it made 415 before and now 450.The main thing I like about the SCT over the BG is Tony was able to correct driveability concerns like rich at part throttle,and the TCC lock-up in third at 30mph.Also when it would lock-up in O/D at 40mph the whole truck would shake like a mnaual with the clutch engaged at to low a speed.I'm really happy with my SCT and glad I got it.

those numbers are N/A without nitrous? what type of cam did u use? i also have eddy heads but with a 210x but im only around 300 rwhp.

haha dam that explains it. i was like wat the hell kinda cam is giving that much power. still very very respectable considering its N/A. he musta got higher compression pistons and full ported on the eddys

Its nice to know what kinda of power a 408 is capable of with basic off the shelf parts that have been worked over a little. 450rwhp is around 550 at the flywheel that is truely insane. I'm guessing i'm around 425 flywheel hp with my 408 but I went pretty mild on my setup since its a daily driver and so far it has been everything I've expected out of it.

Yup, 408, full port job, big headers, big cam, and I think he's around 11:1 cr. Definitely a well thought out package.

Spend some $$$ on your heads at this vendor... http://www.championracingheads.com/

you're going to need alot more than a 210x cam to bust 350 at the wheels...lol. His old setup made over 400 at the tires.

1) don't know the altitude but it was 93* outside with it raining while on the dyno in a hot ass shop(with fans blowing).I could have made more with a few tweaks and race gas but wanted to see what it would do set-up this way.I mena I have the plugs at .030" for the N2O hell thats about 5-8hp right there.
2)NO corrected numbers I don't like corrected numbers because I could correct them to read 800hp.

3) the heads were done by champion racing heads Turbo posted the link,they flow in the 290's on intake and like 220+ on exhaust.Spintech longtube 1 7/8" headers and a Deputy special cam from comp.

Now I have a question for you, are you the same adobedude that had a problem with me on the delphi boards awhile back over a street racing vid that was posted????
