Like it says, this is how I did it and it has worked for over a year and half already. Supports 622 RWHP with a 300 LPH in my truck. I know there is other ways but this worked for me. This allows you to retain your factory wiring and keep your fuel level working. Any questions on the diagram let me know, oh and I AM NOT AN ARTIST NOR AN ENGRISH MAJOR, lol. This is based off a return style system with a regulator. Hope it will help yall out.

Ok. Now, what if you use it the opposite? keep the factory pump and use the -6 fitting for the return? or is this for a better pump?

Does that actually work as in you've run it yet or is this just a concept at this point. There's a reason I ask this but curious all the same.

Its the way I have been running it for a year and a half. I just put a bigger pump in it yesterday. I did this due to the fact that someone asked me how I had the pump im selling working in my factory basket. With this design it supported 622 RWHP on a 300LPH pump. I stepped up to a 400LPH. She wants more fuel, lol

Keep in mind that these fitings are NOT the only ones that can be used. They are the sizes and styles that I used. What ever hoses you decide to go with will also dictate what hose ends that you use. This is not the complete list of what you need, just a hint to what you will need to look into.

If I create images of your drawing would you be willing to edit them and include a typed version to add to the How-To DB.

Love this! I'm in the middle of doing the same thing with a 400 walbro and Richard's return fuel adapters

Reason I asked is because I was under the impression that the stock fitting you're using as a return had a check valve in it. That's why I didn't use mine like that when I did mine somewhat like that. On mine that thing is there to just act as a plug along with two bulkhead fittings for feed and return. :fml:

What pump did you go with? N instead of running the 6an line all the way to the front, I imagine you could just tap into the stock line to make it easier? Just cut the connector off n go from there.

Reserving spot to post pictures of basket mod. Will get them posted up this weekend with the install of the AEM 320.
