Anyone used any? Work for one? I'm looking for a good company, with enclosed transporter.
NH_TAZ: Who did you use?

do not, do not use DAS (dependable auto shippers). they are anything but dependable and it will take you forever to get your car, it will sit at a terminal for weeks. it took our car about 4 weeks to get from PA to OH. another friend of mine used them and the car sat for so long he finally reported the car stolen in order to get them to move it.
this is from the same guy who had problems with DAS, this is who he used for another car. his recommendation got another guy i know to use them and he had a car from NC to OH in 3 days from calling them.
"Now when I bought the Rabbit I was not too keen on having anything shipped, but the seller assured me that Cascade Vehicle Shipping was the real deal and they would take care of it. I called and spoke with a woman named Dianne and she arranged things with the seller for a pick up time. The quote they gave me was very good and they were able to have the car to me the day after it was picked up. They are a broker and they work with individuals with small transporters. The guy that delivered my car had a truck with a 2 car trailer. Search for them on google and check out the transporter reviews website.
When you are ready for a quote go to their website: http://www.cascadevehicleshipping.com/ and give them a call. Ask for Dianne and tell her Nick that just got the Rabbit said to call. I will never use another company again. The guy that delivered my car was cool as hell and took his time unloading it to make sure it wouldn't get damaged. He took the trailer off the truck and jacked the front of it way the hell up in the air so the Rabbit wouldn't bottom out when it came off the ramps. I was very impressed with the whole situation."

http://www.autotransportdirect.com/ shipped mine. They contracted it out to a third party that brought the truck up the very next day. The price wasn't that bad either.

Thanks guys! I haven't decided on anything yet, I just know it'll prolly be an out of state buy.
If it's close enough, I will go get it myself. But somewhere on the west coast, I'm not doing that shit! I'll spend more on plane tickets, gas, and the time missed that I could be working.

Hey smart guy, speaking of your truck only has dual 10# bottles and they're both empty! I want a refund!!!!1
My 99 Cummins was delivered to me from NY using Anderson Transport. It was not enclosed, but they may do both. 217-299-8259 is the cell phone number for the owner of the company. He was very professional and the delivery and turn around was pretty quick.

Damn! That's not bad! I just went to furthest point, and got $1450 enclosed, $900 open. Still cheaper than, plane ticket, gas, food, week off work. If it went to that extreme.
