I have 99 R/T CC , I am still trying to find out what mods the previous owner has done, how do I know if I have the Mopar PCM, or the stock one? any help would be appreciated thanks. G-man

I'd post the p/n from it. Someone will know if it's stock or not.

the Pcm says p/n P05007

If no one else answers by tomorrow, I can look at mine and tell you if it's the same.

You're missing some numbers at the end there.

well it almost matches the mopar book, the book says P5007107, PCM says P05007107 ? is it the same?

Yes same part, some sources list the leading zero in part numbers, some don't.

Got a question. Did any of the R/T's come with a mopar performance PCM from the factory?

I have a '99 RT and saw that the part number on my PCM is a P56040145 AE

I assume I don't have it since on the website I looked and a performance one is P5007108 for a '99. Was this PCM only offered as an optional performance replacement part?

Thanks guys.

just a question- why would you want a mopar pcm, when sct is available?

if sct was available 10 years ago- no one would have ever bought the pcm.

Just an FYI, Mopar Performance PCM's part numbers always start with a P. Regular ones don't have a P at the beginning of their part #. Should make it easier to distinguish :)
