Beat an 06 GTI?

I was coming home from work and some older guy in a Golf GTI started revving his car as the light was changing. I couldn't resist and we where off as the light turned green, the GTI didn't really put up a fight. We went to about 65 and I had by almost 2 trucks:rockwoot:

RT mods: Intake and 112000 miles:drive:

GTI: stock

Anyone race one before?

I raced an DSG '07 3-door once. He got a jump on me, we stayed fender to fender til about 90 when he pulled half a truck ahead of me...

This was before I swapped my rear gears.

The one I raced was the 4 door version, I think it was stick.
