Traction was a serious issue with a 1.91 60ft.

Only made 2 runs. First was an NA pass. 13.4 (weak). Had some wheel spin.

Second pass on a 150. Blew the tires off. Had to let off and get back on it. And its still puking coolant all over. So i packed up and went home.

Previous best was 12.38 @ 110 on a 100 shot

Did you ever get a new rad cap? Are the slicks you using still good? Think you killed them Head gasket's? Did Dave do the re-torque when he did the install?

You got til spring to fix it!

325/50's ( i think) MT drag radials still fairly new. Had them at 16psi
Coolant is blowing right out of the overflow tank. Blowing a lot too.
Yes , brand new cap. It did it to my on Woodward the next weekend after the nats. Went and got a new cap and thought it was good.
Don't know on the retorque. I'm betting on head gaskets too.

I have to modify the WC hangers to install the caltracks. Right now i have load leaf helpers on the front/ bottom of the leafs and the rear clamps removed. I've never had traction issues with this setup... until i started spraying on DR's.

I just may end up getting some slicks.

Don't remember if I did or not. I remember one head had to come off because a valve got stuck, but new gasket was used.

Hey Rob,

Even with the QTP Pros I ended up having to use QA1's to finally get the RC settled down on a 150 shot launch. I set the rears at about 8, and the fronts at 2 and that netted me 2-3 1.56's in a row on Vader. I havent tried the QA's on Barney yet.
And yeah, you cooked the headgaskets... :) I have had that same symptom a few times... heh
