My new brakes won't allow my current drag wheel setup. I have 15x8 Sport wheels on the rear, with Hoosier 275/60/15 tires. (28" tall)
Rear tires have maybe 40 passes (how long do they last?) and should probably be replaced. I still do 1.8/1.9 60's on them all day.
Front's are 15x7 with brand spanking new 215/75/15. I'm talking like 75 miles on them. "to the track and back"
Everything holds air just fine and there are no patches/plugs. Wheels are presentable for their purpose... They're scuffed and scratched a little but have no major damage to the lips and are completely serviceable.
I'll post pics soon and we'll see how well they clean up. it's MF'in hot out.
Anyone interested?
Pete

I THINK those front wheels are actually 6 inches wide. I have a set for my snow tires. Not 100% positive.

Hey Pete, you going to Iola next week?
I could take them off your hands, depending if I get my rear swapped so I got something to hook up with.

My first Dakota had those wheels. I always thought they were 15x7s. no way they were only 6" wide, because the last set of tires I put on them were 255/50/15s
and that's awesome! "Honey, I gotta put the slicks and skinnies on the truck this morning!!"
"why?!"
"Because I need to go to Home Depot to get a load of lumber!"

Hey you never know when you may need to cut some good 60 footers. Home Depot parking lots can be a madhouse. :jester:
