I'm looking at different tire options to go with when I get my r/t 20's. What do you guys recommend? I think I'm gonna get belltech 2" drop coils for the front and 3" leafs for the rear with belltech shocks all around for suspension. I can't decide which size tires to go with though. Was thinking about 275/35 or 275/40. Also, what brand, looking at yokohama s drive, kumho or toyo. Thanks

Pirelli's FTW!
275/35/20 front, 275/40/20 for rear (or i wanted taller rears to help with my 4.56's. And smaller fronts than stock to keep from rubbing)

here's some pics/info on mine.

I'm in on the group buy as well. My question is , can you put 275's in the back and 255's in the front? or do they both have to be the same?

I've got 255/40/20's Toyo's) in the front and 275/45/20's (Summomito's) in the rear = no rub with Hotchkis TVS.

Do u? U got any pics of ur truck? Me, I want 2 put 275/40's in the back and 255/35's in the front. What I'm wondering is if that will work with the 20" silver RT wheels that are coming on the group buy. I think they are 20x9.

ok ive had a lot of 20in tires

255/35/20 and 275/35/20 pirelli - suck, worst tire ive had, squeeled like pigs and pushed the front end in corners. i expected them to be good as they were expensive as hell, wrong.

255/35/20 and 275/35/20 nitto 555zr - great tire but one developed torque cracks on the sidewall right before i replaced it. ill rate these second best ive had.

265/35/20 bfg g-force NT (the flame lookin patern one) - great tire till they get halfway gone then they are hard as rocks and spin too easy.

255/45/20 (rear) goodyear eagle f1 supercar- nothing to complain about on these. but the traction didn't have me raving about them. it was way better than the worn out BFGs tho.

275/40/20 (rear) toyo proxy 4 - best tire ive had period. great traction for corners or take off, ride smooth, good wear, look great. these tires were so good put them on the SRT8 too, ironicly the charger takes that same size.
