Our Secretary took a fall

So Ashley and I were wresting(crazy drunk makeout too Hot for TV) she rolled over on her ankle. It hurt her pretty bad, but she brushed it off. So in the middle of the night she wakes me up and say let go to the ER(2:30am) We go to the ER wait for ever...goes for and X-ray, come back the nurse says "it looks like a fracture, you have a big chip in your bone" Ok they rap it up in a temp. cast and send us packing..I got home @ 7:00 am :-(
The next day she has severe pain in her heal?? despite the pain meds.. so we head back to the ER(11:30am) we finally see a DR. he looks her over and then looks at the X-rays from before, he comes back and says your ankle is NOT fractured?? WTF?? can we get a call?? any way since her heal was killing her he order an X-ray of the heal, go come back heal is fine. than he says ok how bout an X-ray of the foot. go come back No fracture.. He says he dont know whats wrong?? IDIOT " you have to go to a specialist " so he sends in some young nurse to resplint her leg. this bitch had no clue.. I had to rewrap it my self cause she sucks.. mind you Ashleys foot is all black n Blue and swollen all over.. so we leave 5:00pm
I FUCKING HATE THE HOSPITAL!!! fucking morons

Today we go to the foot DR. Turns out she torn a ligament on her ankle and sprained her akiles(SP??) tendon. They wrapped it in a cast and sent us home..

damb that was a long post.. did i mention i hate the hospital..

To all our DTRC members out there.. Ashley just got the stuff to make the ID cads and whatnot. She and I will be going over all the info this week. So expect your Membership packets and ID cards before the end of the month:biggthumpup:

Good luck with that. A buddy of mine sprained his ankle really bad about a month ago. Same deal, black and blue and swollen badly. He's been hobling around for a month so far and they told him it may be another month before it gets any better.

Sorry to hear about Ash, hope she gets better soon. Bloody painful ankles, broke mine years ago & tore ligaments playing Aussie rules footy, still a bitch today when it’s cold. Good that you've got all the stuff at last! :hail:

Sorry to hear about Ashley, hope she has a speedy recovery. I had a buddy that partially tore his achilles tendon right before deployment on my first cruise....we were gone 8-1/2 months, and when we came back he was STILL going through PT....hope that doesn't happen with Ashley though. Oh, and uh....ID Cards....? *puzzled look*
