I spent a couple Evenings after Work making a few Changes and Updates, I swapped out the Clear Corners for a set of Stock Amber Corners and a Set of Low Mileage Headlights I had in my shop that were in better condition than the ones it had on it......
The Driving Lights it had were Clouded up and Cracked, so I installed a set of
Stock Replacement Driving lights from TYC and a set GE Bulbs in both light sets......
I had a set of Chrome Wheel Skins for the R/T wheels, so I installed them to make a quick improvement for Carlisle in 2 weeks.
The Grille that was on it when I bought it was Cracked where the Lower mounting Screws attach to the grille Frame, so I installed a Chrome Replacement Grille I had in the Shop and Tossed the Broken Grille in the Trash...

So I took it to a local show at the Dodge Dealer's and it got a Top 30 Award much to my Surprise......

As soon as the Dakota that I have in the Shop is Finished, this one will get it's turn, it has some additional body damage that needs attention too..
i was thinkin the same thing.
Probably this Fall it will get fixed, the Right front fender needs replaced as it has some hidden damage I found that won't let it line up properly with the hood...
I'm going to fix it all at once, when I do make the paint repairs...

The Grille is temporary until I can get a Correct one for it that looks Right...
I'm probably going to have to buy a Mopar Spec Grille from the Dealer, these
cheapy ones from Taiwan work, but are a Bitch to Paint Correctly...
I'm going to get the Body all put back to being Straight and Stock and re-install all the body decals, I have a Tail Stripe for it, but the Bed needs work first before I install it...

Cool man, congrats. I took a 1st place in my R/T's first outing this weekend too. I see you have the same taste in color, very classy indeed.

Do you do your own paint work ? Mine could use some help and it seems nobody that I dealt with yet can get this silver color applied properly.

I work as a Counterman for the Local NAPA Store and a Buddy of mine has a shop at his Garage at home, he's converted to a body shop complete with Paint Booth.....
we can pretty much match any color and get it correct, The Bright silver metallic has a couple of paint codes and a few diferent alternates as well.
I have access to alternate color chips for that color, so matching should be pretty easy...... I have to fix the driver's door on my R/T so we'll see soon
Send me some photos of what you need fixed and I'll see what I can do about talking to Bob on it for ya...

I'm thinking I want to paint the hood(cervinis) again, right door, and the bed. There some runs and dirt in the paint, and well as modeling of the flake in some spots. The color seems to be ok though, go figure. Anyway, that's what we're talking. No dings or anything to fix.
