I want to redo the exhaust on my R/T. It got a Flowmaster exhaust but the tips don't look too good anymore. Plus they were cut to length for a roll pan and the bumper is back on it now.

What I'd love is an exhaust that exists on each side behind the rear wheels, basically like the stock R/T exhaust plus a copy of that on the other side. I haven't found anything in my searches other than this on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-02-Dodge-Dakota-Aluminized-Truck-Dual-Exhaust-Kit_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247 QQcategoryZ33630QQihZ008QQitemZ180197227252QQrdZ1Q QsspagenameZWD1V) that does not look much like the R/T side exit. Has anyone see something like this?

Yes, it does exist. However, it's a custom job. I did that to my R/T years ago. There isn't a kit, to my knowledge. I had the exhaust shop do a custom job for me. I have a single inlet/dual outlet Spintech that I had mounted to the truck.

Did they bring them both down the passenger side then make the run to the drivers side after the rear end, or were they able to get it to fit down the drivers side? The reason I ask is; the gas tank and drive shaft are pretty tight on that side.
EDIT:Doh ! Never mind, I see where I missed it being a single in, dual out.

When I got my '99, the previous owner had that set up. I did the cuda tips, so, I may have that pair of factory style tips in the garage somewhere.

No idea the condition, or details. If you might be interested, I can dig them out this weekend [if they're still there] and shoot a few photos. get me at jim@bartuskasfurniture.com if you want more info.

Hey, finally got to snap a few pix of those tips. Let me know if you're interested...

a few minor blemishes, a little rash near the tip [bottom side], a few specks of tar, but overall should clean up pretty nice, check photos:

Sorry to thread jack but it's related.

Has anyone had experience re-polishing spintech or other polised aluminum tips. Mine have some pits in them from road debris hitting them and I would like to repolish them. Should I have them blasted, tumbled, sanded to start off with?
