Discovered these awesome connectors when I saw them featured on an HID kit I ordered.

I plan on using these weather tight connectors on all my future auto/marine electrical connections from now on.

Anyone use these "Weather-Pack" connectors before?

I am planning to order these to wire up my GC fan. They also offer nice OEM looking fuse blocks.

Great for Automotive use.

I wouldn't use them on a Boat. They are not that water tight.

About the best you could do for a Boat is Cannon or Deutsch connectors. They are a bit pricey but a lot better at being environmentally sealed.

I've been Wring Aircraft for 20+ yrs and seen just about every Environmental Plug under the Sun and have yet to see one that is 100% sealed from the elements.

Just some better than others.

Even on aircraft that see little bad-element exposure we find connectors that need replacing during corrosion inspections due to moisture exposure.

Cool thanks for that advice. I'm not too knowledgeable on electrical stuff and what's out there, but I'm starting to find out more. One of the reasons I like forums like these is you get to share information with some very knowledgeable people in differing expertise.
I personally get a kick out of finding new products that can fill a need and make a job easier, more reliable, better performing etc., no matter how small the component. And when I do I like to share and find out more about them.

Anyone know a good source for these weather-pack connectors? Sick660r where'd you get your kit? McMaster while convenient, tends to be pricy sometimes and limited in selection.
We use AMPHENOL military connectors where I work, and have the pin crimping tool that crimps the pins that look like this:

I wonder if the tool will work for the weather pack style pins too...would be nice from saving myself the cost of the crimp tool.

Thanks.
