I don't care, it's not hard to ignore threads I don't want to click on.

my opinion keep political shit off the forum all together. if it is blocked or not it will spill over to the rest of the discussions.

Just because people don't want to talk politics on a truck forum does not make them puppets. My entire career is one big politic discussion hence not wanting to spill over. I will just block it.

My opinion; is to leave it public and give the browser the option to opt out for good. One time and you're done. No more Politics in your new message alerts.

That way the Political forum will be a well known place to discuss such things. If it's by subscription only, nobody will even know it's an option. It will remain mostly unvisited and unused (IMO). Political discussions will start popping up in Off Topic instead.

IMO, It should be kept public like it was.

Politics, and the politicians that you support, have a huge effect on your personal liberties, hobbies, interests, safety, and welfare. It's not a bad thing to be kept aware of the situation from any and all angles and views, and form your own opinions based on your own desires.

And when you click "new posts," only the thread title shows up. You still don't have to read it if you don't want to......

This is neither a pro or a con.

If you have to subscribe to see the political forum - then you will always have to log in to see it and visitors won't see it at all. That's either good or bad - depending upon your opinions...

I prefer to keep my political views to myself, but I enjoy watching (reading) others bicker about theirs. It's definately entertaining.
