I was wondering if anyone knew the fully dressed weight of a 5.9 with tranny together?

I don't think anyone really knows...I've never seen it posted.

When I had one shipped with two pallets it was 756 (that includes a wire harness and acc. bracket and a couple 2x4's to box it in)
So just engine/trans should be around 700-720 (no more than qt of oil in engine)

I weighed it at work when it arrived because the fucking shipping company said it was 865 (vs my 700 quote) and charged me an extra $206

if i had to guess, in completely stock form, i'd say around 650ish or so. i had a tranny shipped to me and it weighed like 165 according to the paper. add in 450 for the motor, another 40ish for the converter, and you're looking around that number, give or take depending on fluids as well. i know when i built my 408, i remember reading the blocks weighed a couple hundred by themselves. just my guesstimate lol.
