It is finally coming all together! Here are my Hoosier 28 dia's on the R/T. Hopefully next weekend I will get the time to take it to strip, and know what traction is lol. Dan

Those are on 15" wheels aren't they? Man I wish I could fit 15's on my truck. Would be so much cheaper and easier.

Just curious, what made you go with the Hoosier's?
I JUST got a new set of M/T's from fed-ex today, should be at track next friday :burnout::woot:

From my experience and talking to others during R/T get togethers, the Hoosiers require less of a burnout to get sticky than the M/T slicks. Now that's just for the QTPs and the full on slicks. If you are running the drag radials, then the M/Ts sound like they are a good choice. I've had the same set of 26x10 Hoosier QTPs for over 5 years and they still work good. I don't go to the track much, and friends have actually used them more than I have. I can tell you that if I air my slicks down to less than 15-18psi that my truck actually bogs out of the hole because they just stick. My last time to the track on them I actually got my best 60' time with them aired up to 27psi for the drive to the track.

At the moment Immokalee, if I can hook up on that shitty slick little 1/8th mile track. Than I will make a weekend of it and head up to Bradenton. Dan

After consulting with some of the guys on this forum, the best 60fts where coming from 9 inch wide 28 dia hoosier slicks. Plus as stated before by Brian it takes alittle less burn out. So more runs, and they are sure sticky. Nothing wrong with the M/T's, Jody Fryer runs M/T Et streets on his old 408 truck, and no traction issues. Just these are alittle more sticky. Dan

Yes sir those are on 15"s, sucks you can't run them cause the rear disc brakes. Dan

Yea it forces me to to go to the 10x28-16 and for that I have to run a 10" wide rim which I can only get in a custom fitment i.e. the Real Pro series. Which are expensive as hell.
