Looks good, anymore would be overkill I think.

Stop right there. Painting "random" things like vents and such looks like ass! It actually looks good how it is, so leave it, NO MORE!

I've actually debated painting the front piece of my console for a couple years now...

Door handles count as a "random" piece too...my suggestion is don't do it, but it's your vehicle!

its not that random, it was standard on tons of chrysler vehicles.

Doesn't mean it looks good. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though

IMO you've already done too much.

Be careful with anything light colored or reflective facing the windshield. It will glare.

Since you truck is two tone, I would take what you have done, and paint the outter most area (dvidid by the line) and paint it the stock color again. You will still have the splash of color, but you won't have the glare on the windshield.

I agree with the other guys to stop there.

Actually there is no glare off of the metallic silver! Painting anything else on the dash would be too much but I don't see why painting around the door handles would be a problem! I mean they are already a different color and smoother texture as compared to everything else! I have seen some god awful interiors but in my opinion I don't think mine is! That's just me! And brake pedal problem!! You mean the paint coming off or the wiring hanging down?

the rubber is gone off the pedal, mines the same way.

IMO if you did around the handles, it would look fine, kinda bring the look all around the truck ya know?

That's what I was thinking it would be a clean look and yea I want a nice set of pedals

If you are going to do it, at least do it right and get everything done in hydrographics. Paint will wear and peel, unless you are using all the right additives in the paint.

And you are showing your age, you asked a question, people gave you answers, and you want to do it anyway.

Hydrographics is based with and covered in paint, lol.

Granted the prep work is usually top notch, and they aren't using rattle cans.

Not being ignorant its just I had my heart set on doing the handles, but I was open to more options

Get a set of spare ones, and if you like it keep it, if not just put the stock ones back in. Can probably find them cheap, ask Chas if he has some left over from the part out.

Flat paint just doesn't look good and looks like spray paint. I dripped my whole interior as well as Rob. M's on here in snakeskin and it just adds a little something with a very good finish that will last:

I like the idea of having the trim around the door handles painted I feel that it would tie the interior together. The pic I attached may be over done but you get the point

Not a fan of the snake skin, but the pic you posted is Darren's old R/T that is without a doubt one of the nicest Dakota ever.

A bit too much red and snake skin for me, but I do reconize the awesome quality of this job!

That's right, I can't believe he sold it. I wish I would have known sooner and I would have bought it
