After being gone for 7 months I was finally able to start on the pile of parts I had stacked up in the spare room. August is gonna get here quick haha.
List of what was done and still needs to be done.
Installed the hotchkis with QA1's. Im gonna go another inch lower front and back and keep the same aggresive rake. I'm just gonna take out the 4 shims and add 2 inch blocks and chop a 1/2 coil out of the fronts. Also runnin 255/50's in front and 275/50 in back and that'll even up the wheel gap.
The wheels are gonna get either a matte black powder or gunmetal. Not sure just yet on that.
Added SS mirrors, Smoked 1 Peice headlights(which kicked my ass), SRT-4 seats.
Gotta add my old smoothed Cowl hood, Hopefully the Innovations soon, and paint the SS inserts to match the wheels.
Anyways heres where she's at right now.

Then a lil photoshop action of the additional inch drop and dark wheels.

Here are the wheels I'm tryin to get Rota to make for me. Last I heard they want atleast 5 orders but I wanna be different so i'm probably gonna have to pay extra for it.:jerkit:

Thanks bro. Slowly but surely.
Yeah they actually make one would fit but the only thing holding it up is the bolt pattern. I emailed a request to Rota after talkin to one of their tech guys and they're gonna give me a reply wether or not they will do just one set. They're lightweight and actually not too expensive. Less than $800 for 4 rims. I guess we'll see.

Looks good. It'll look real good with those Rota's on there.
How do you like them SRT4 seats? How far forward do they tilt/slide up, enough room for people to access the back of a club cab?

Looking good bro
What's the name of that wheel? Do they make 'em in 18's? And how wide? :) They look good. For that price I might be interested in going in for a set. I was wanting the CCW 550's, which are pretty similar, but $2600 a set.

Thanks dude.
Its the P45R. Yeah they come in 18x9.5 and thats the only width available, but nothing weldcraft cant fix. They have about 6 or 7 different offsets also. I think i read they weigh about 20 lbs apeice which is just a bonus.
Heres a set of 18's on an X runner. Although i think they'd look much better on a dak!

Hmmmm, that could work. Just need to figure out what offset to use to allow for the 2" I would need Weldcraft to add, and still have everything fit and look right. And of course, have them actually make that wheel in a 6x4.5 pattern. Oh, and have M&H actually release their 345/35R18 DR :D

the truck itself looks great. good taste in mods, but if you put that srt8 badge on there for real ill drive over there and twist your nuts off. period.
thats like r/t badging a v6. you don't have the brakes, suspension, or engine to back that up.

That paint looks sweet, what kind of wax and buffing compounds are you using?

So far this is all I've heard about offsets. 18 x 9.5 +12/+20/+25/+30/+35/+48 5h x 114.3
As soon as I hear back from em I'll let ya know.

:jester: Me and my boy were wondering how long it would take for someone to mention it. It's just a photoshop bro so keep your hands away from my nuts!

Zaino. I havent done it for 7 months though. Well before I left for deployment. The only thing I did was wash it before the pics. I use it on our 5 inch guns also.

I use this to help. The 18x9.5's would bolt right up and would extend both ways 6mm's which would bring it closer to the edge of the fender flare in the rear. I'd have to go out and go lock to lock and check the clearances for the front though.
For an 11.5 inch rim and with the 48mm offset they have (which is the biggest) It would move in torwards the leaf spring about 2.1 inches. Im not sure how much space there is though with an R/T rim.

I know that a stock R/T rim can be widened to 11" and still clear, and that's with the extra 2" being on the inside. So I guess whatever the normal offset would be, maybe a hair more to be safe, and it should clear even with the extra 2".

Bringin an old one back to life. Believe it or not I got a call back from Rota today. Well not exactly Rota but a company thats branched off of them . 18racing or some shit. Well the chic said she has sent a request to management to see if they would drill our pattern in the P45r. She wanted to verify the bolt pattern , backspace and size before she ran it up.
I'm suppose to get a ring back in the next few days. She said it's 50/50 on wether or not they'll except it. Apparently it costs 2000 beans to drill an extra friggen lug hole. :jerkit:
She also did mention they would let me know about group buy prices as well.
I'll keep everybody updated...... Sweet lightweight wheels for 800 ish a set. Cant beat that shit.

where did you get that grill mesh? I find any around here. how much is and how does it install. Do you just mount it on the back of the gril?

They're Street Scene Inserts. They attach to the grill with little metal clips.

Your truck looks awesome! Nice! I just got my stillen bumper cover today -- can't wait to get it painted & installed.
I might be interested in getting in on a group buy for those wheels but I'm currently in the process of gathering the last few cosmetic pieces for my truck because I am painting it this weekend. I was looking into those awhile back, do they come in 19"?
