Im not sure if you would run into any issues with the wheels rubbing if u went with 10" wide...but as long as you didnt Id say bigger is better... :)

either the bogart SS (to match my front skinnys) or centerline stars (very similar style)

i was just thinking that the 10 wide might cause too much rolling resistance with wider tire on it.

Think of the old Pontiac Grand Prix commercial... Wider is Better!!... more area to gain grip1

Ask Alan. I think he only runs a 9" wide slick, and he's got 2 seconds on you. Bigger isn't always better. ;)

thats the whole thing, grip isnt an issue. my m/t DR dont spin one bit off the line. i just thought a 15 x 10 would LOOK badass. i think i would be better off with a 15 x 8

What centerline star wheels come in 6 lug??? Ive been looking for something like that....unless you did a 5 lug conversion...

I was expecting a little cheaper since it is a 15 inch wheel

You would think bigger is better and in some cases you'd be right, but here's my take on the subject; only run as much tire as you really need, because the rest is excess rotational weight, which is more critical than static weight. For instance, I run a 15x8.5 Weld aluminum wheel, with a 9x28x15 Hoosier slick (no inner tube) and I don't have to air them down to sub 10 psi to get them to hook. I run more like 15+ and my 408 on nitrous can't overpower them on a decently prepared track, so if I ran a 15x10 and a 12x28x15, it would weigh more and not really even be necessary.
My best 60' is 1.58 so far, but I believe I can do better. I just need to get to the track more often than once a year.

then buy some 10" wide rims to ride around on, and switch to 9" slicks at the track. or you can go big like some other guys and get a 13" rim to pimp on :bling:

I agree with Alan. i run on an 8in wide rim as are alot a guys and are pull pretty good 60's as well. i say 15x8 all the way :woot:
