2012 MOPARS At The Strip!! April 13-15th

Vegas is just around the bend. Almost time for another three day weekend at the strip for racing, mopar car show, and a small swap meet along with the venders midway.

One of the best Mopar get togethers around, plenty to do and see so pack your bags and book your rooms :biggthumpup:

This year they are pushing the date back again to April 13-15th, 2012.

Unless the truck sells, I'll be there again. Doubt I'll be racing though - even if I manage to get this beast tuned in time, I doubt the street tires would be worth a damn for a WOT Pass, even just N/A.

I'm gonna try and fly up sat morn and wander around for a bit,then fly back that eve or sun am.

Yes - there is a bunch of Rebel brand gas stations in town that have 100 octane at the pump. Right now they're gouging people for $6.79/gallon (it used to be $3.99/gal until regular gas prices approached $4/gal, then they bumped it up to where it is now).

I've heard rumors that the Rebel station near I-15 and Sahara sells race fuel in cans as well.

You can check the locations in town using the company's website http://rebeloil.com/ - click on the locations button to see a list of their gas stations, then make sure they have "Racing" in the product listing.

Not this year, funds are low and Gray truck needs some more Pow-ah before I get it back to the track. I'll be at spring fling however.

I know they don't sell un-leaded at the track, but there is a place just down the road from the track that sells 114 VP for about $14.50gal/ $73 for a 5 gallon pale.
I tried a few Rebel stations two years ago and found not all have the 100. I'd call around and see which one does.
