Well since the build last winter I have had nothing but problems with exhaust leaks. I finally said screw it and bought some v-band flanges/clamps for the collectors and some Remflex gaskets for the manifolds.
Today I removed the headers and chopped off the 3-bolt flanges. I need to find somebody/somewhere to weld the flanges to the headers.

Which brings me to my first question; anybody close to Wilmington, DE that can weld? I work in Sandy Hook, NJ, so anyone on the way up I could drop the stuff of if it's not too far out of the way. Just checking here before I take them to a shop.

I also want to get new Bolts, but have been having a hard timing finding some. I don't really want to spend $60 on the locking ones, but the ARP ones only come in a 3/4" UHL.

Which is my next question, anybody using Mopar/PPH's with Remflex gaskets? What bolts are you using? Im thinking 1" UHL will be better but idk...

Thanks guys!! :rockwoot:

Good call, I went with v-band clamps on the headers I had built for the 425. When I build my next setup, I'll have 'em again.

Just ordered some bolts from McMaster-Carr. thay are Stainless 12pt flanged heads with 1" under head length, should work great!! ran about $28.

My boat is getting underway for 2 weeks, then I have to go down to florida for a week right after. So i guess I'll find a shop around here for when i get back to weld these flanges to the headers.

Once I have all that done, Ill bolt them up and run it open headers to an exhaust shop to get the rest done!! lol gunna be loudddddd!

Going to get 2 of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CENTER-OFFSET-2-5-INCH-EXHAUST-OVAL-MUFFLER-SILENCER-M-/260841897219?hash=item3cbb637d03&item=260841897219&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr#shId

And just do 2.5" straight pipes from the headers to these mufflers both on the passenger side with turndowns right after the cab. Hopefully it will sound alot better then my Flowmaster!
