Well guys I dropped the motor in over the weekend. All i can say is damn this thing rocks. I have tried to be easy on it breaking it in but it sounds pretty mean. If anyone thought the cam I was running was to big its not. It idles pretty good right now on the bg m1 flash at around 550-600rpm (going to bump it up to 700-750rpm when i get it tuned) and it only throws misfire codes when it sits and idles for 5min plus. It also pulls plenty of vacum for the brakes. I will get a video in a next couple of days for all of you so stay tuned.

That was quick, nice job!
What cam are you running again? The extra cubes help soak up a bigger cam.

Its got a nice little idle definatly not stock but believe it or not sounds pretty normal just cruising around.

Yea I was surprised how easy it went together I had the whole thing assembled in less than a week. Most of the time I was waiting on the machine shop to get the block work done. It took me a day to put it in the truck and get everything bolted up and pluged in. I hit the key and it would start b/c i had the distributor 180 out but that was solved with a quick flick of a wrench and it started right up with a nice bumpity idle. But as far a components not fitting or something not bolting up I had absolutly no problems. I think all together It was sitting on blocks for about a month.

Wow that was fast. I've been slowly getting parts for mine together for months and still have awhile to go.
