just change the sensors over to the new one, and tighten the 4 bolts on top.
after that, enjoy:rockwoot:

Hmmm are you sure?:jerkit: I heard you have to check the blinker fluid before you change the sensors and grease the muffler bearing before you tighten the 4 bolts on top

Sounds like one of 3 things.

A. You didn't get the TPS sensor on right.
B. Vacuum leak.
C. The tb blades are sticking.

You need to set the IAC to 30-60 count with a scanner. Get that Taiwan T off the MAP! It's a disgrace to your truck!:nono:

So What Does This Do....

Sets it up to recover quickly after hard braking/decel , but not stay up high too long.
It won't stall or lose vac in a stumble so you are ready to brake again if needed. It's necessary more with 52mm+ TBs then stockers. Keep your thumb over the IAC well while setting. The KRC site will step by step it for ya!

Yeeeaaaah, you're not really supposed to adjust that screw. How does it run?

:bs:In a perfect world maybe!!! Good luck if you don't!! Asks self--- Why is it an adjustment screw? and WHO does it perfect on an assembly line every time without an engine for miles? And what two engines have exactly the same vacuum at idle? Duh!

Well, when it comes off one motor and worked fine, to another where it idles at 2000rpms, I think there is other issues. Unless the guy adjusted the screw before mailing it out. I've never dealt with Hughes tb's, but I've never had to adjust an F&B. :jerkit:

Same here, I'm on my 2nd F&B (1st was a 50mm, 2nd is a 52mm) both were spot-on - right out of the box. Guy here locally has a Hughes TB on his Durango---world of difference between the two in quality and finish. The Hughes looks good, but the F&B is a work of art! He had the same problem with the blades sticking and had to adjust the Hughes up to about 900 rpm at idle to keep it from sticking.

Bruce of F&B undoubtedly builds the best Magnum TB out there, with Wilson and Holley tied for second.BTW he also designed the Holley 52, but it's not the TB that needs to see the correct IAC count, it's the PCM. So any TB could need adjustment. Choosing not to, can lead to misfire codes, that you would never see if the correct count was there. Installing the TPS preloaded in the wrong direction can lead to idle speed issues even when it's been corrected.

That is what I was getting at when I said the TPS could have been installed wrong.
