I always thought you were technically not supposed to pass on the right even on a multi lane highway

Same here. Between that and proper yeilding at a yellow light, I got a 70%. I think some of that test is bunk.

same here. but i do it anyway if its possible and safe so although I got tricked on the written question, I guess I was always allowed to do that so I was driving right the whole time.

Yeah I do it all the time as well......kinda have no choice when you have people that think the left lane is for the maximum posted limit. I always wanted to get one of those bumper stickers... "If I'm passing you on the right, your in the WRONG lane"

But then I remember bumper stickers are tacky and I change my mind

i wish they would resurrect the law of passing on the left on highways because if they did that then they could enforce the slower vehicles stay to the right law. We should follow the lead of most European countries and specifically the German autobahn where you are required to move to the right lane after you pass a vehicle, that way if someone is moving faster than you, you are not in their way.

most of the TX highways are like that.... unless your PASSING, stay to the right. :goodluck:

tho its hard to do that when there are shit loads of 18 wheelers on the road.... your ALWAYS passing.:jester:

That would be great....unfortunately, the people around here are more concerned with so called "street racing" at the moment :angrywife:

85% for me...

got me on the proper yield at a yellow, how far ahead one should signal, and how many seconds for safe following distance...

I think the pass on the right thing might be a sign they've given up on making slow traffic stay to the right... although I did recently see an out-of-province driver get pulled over by OPP because he was slowed down to under the speed limit and in the number 1 lane... guy slowed down because a cruiser was nearby, but never moved over to allow the rest of us by...
