Also Im kinda like the idea of hearing my I-pod so magnaflow cats and mufs ??? or what ???

Can anyone understand this???? or no??? LOL

I need to pass inspection and I don't like it to loud.

I have some doug T headers and the Y-pipe will NOT fit so there you go.

I think you might need professional help :nana: hehe

Are you going to be running cats? If not, then you'll need to either leave your rear O2's out of the exhaust, or get a simm, try leaving them out first, it's free. If you're having the whole setup custom fabbed, then x-pipe or h-pipe is really your choice. From what I've read/heard the x-pipe will make a lil bit more hp and the h-pipe will make a lil more torque. I'm going with an h-pipe on my new setup, just because it's cheap and easy and will allow me to keep the exhaust as short as possible.

If you want to keep it quiet, running cats will help, and then you want larger mufflers (the larger the case the quieter it will be). I was running 14" magnaflows on my old setup and it was pretty loud, but I didn't have cats. So some high flow cats and 18" magnaflows probably wouldn't be too bad.

Thanks I needed that.

Sam (AKA Socaldakota) kinda put me out with that PPH buy but maybe its for the best. This way I get it done right. Its just gonna cost me an arm and a leg and when my wife finds out that Im spending MORE money on the Kota she's will kill me. :nana::angrywife:

As it turns out the PPH headers he sold me are for a 99 NOT, NOT a 2000. It comes down to the Y pipe. The 2000's trany gets in the way. :jerkit:

but what can I do
well besides whine and cry about it. :laughat:

I have the PPH crossover and Y pipe, they were on my 2000 for about a month. Ceramic coated and like new....100 bucks if you want them
