Well I got some stuff powdercoated. I gotta do a few small pieces still, and for the AC I think I'm just gonna paint black. I started to polish it but I think I'd rather just have it black. Should stand out on the silver bracket anyways if it's black.

Just thought I'd post some pics.

My crankshaft is on the way so hopefully my engine builder can start working away and this will be ready soon!

Love the valve covers! :woot:

IMO, if you're going to do the A/C in black, I would do the alternator too. Is the alternator coated? How did you get the windings out?

ya the alternator is coated same silver as everything else and black at the back and the pulley. My mechanic took it apart and I brought the casing to my powdercoater. then brought it back to my mechanic and they put it back together.

Shit's weak! I was told they couldn't come out!

I wonder if you could take the a/c compressor apart and have it coated? I'm sure someone could, they have been chromed before.

A local shop told me they would disassemble and reassemble my alternator for $35, just never did it.

My powder coater wasn't interested in taking apart the AC... I might ask my mechanic to take it apart for me cause I'd like to have it coated if I could. I'm not about to try and do it myself.

If he'd do it I'd definitely get it coated to match! It all looks great dude!
