I've got the 351 3 times now, and a couple other cylinder missfire codes once. I put a new blaster coil on the truck and have no idea why i'm getting this. The truck has MSD 6A ignition and the blaster coil. Anyone had this problem or know what to do about it? Thanks a lot guys!

P0351 (M) Ignition Coil #1 Primary Circuit Peak Primary circuit current not achieved with maximum dwell time.

P0305 - Misfire in cylinder 5.

Did you try going back to the stock ignition to see if the problem is with the MSD?

No i haven't.. I was reading and it seems like maybe MSD 8910 will fix the problem. Here's the link that i found it on http://dakotausa.com/vBulletin/showthread.php?t=17371

Oh, the tach adaptor, I gotcha. I wasn't sure what code it would throw without that. Sorry.

it's a soft code and won't light the CEL. you'd have to pull the codes to see it, but it's probably there already.
