How are these times i had 200lbs of sand in the back because traction is a serious problem i was hoping to do some passes without the sand but there was construction on the way over there and i didnt have enough time. will taking the sand out help?

Around average for stock. Maybe a tenth or two slower. Yea taking out the sand bags would help by dropping the et but you'll lose traction. Take out the sand bags and get drag radials. Every 100lbs is good for a tenth.

Fresh plugs, cap, rotor, get rid of factory pipes coming off exhaust manifolds...Use some JBA downpipes. I turned mine into true dual using these on my 99. Different part number from the 2000 up JBA Y pipe. Go to JBA site, lookup. Not that expensive either so shop that part number around. Do that and an sct tune and it'll wake the truck up quite a bit.

I would ditch the sand because your 60' isn't all that quick to begin with and every 100 lbs costs you roughly 1/10 of a second in the 1/4.
The e.t. and mph are OK though. Right in the middle, so to speak.

Weight is weight, of course it hurt your time.
