Short and sweet, need to know what you guys are doing for a basic first time adjustment on the cal-trac? I have a CC, gonna run the KDWS's, no drag slicks, yet. Gonna take my R/T out for 1st time to a 1/8th mile tomorrow. Times probably wont be so great, gonna be mid day and in the 90's ugh FL. Dan

I start out just snugging them to the leaf by hand, with the truck on the ground. That will at least guarantee that you won't have any spring wrap.

You need to adjust them at race weight/trim with the driver in the driver's seat. Depending on which way your launch goes, you can adjust one side or the other to get it to go straight.

I used the grass trick. Put a blade of grass between front brace and tighted
the left side till the blade would not come out. Sat in the R/T and had a friend tighten the driverside just to where the blade would just barely slip out. John M. gave me that trick, it has worked great running a 150 shot of nitrous and 26 " 10.5 M/T. Should be the same with your set up
