If anyone has one how did you wire it up? I tapped in to pin #24 on the ecm plug closest to the firewall. It's a black wire with a dark green stripe. I'm not sure it's working like it should so i wondered if anyone else had installed one in there truck and how. Thanks a lot guys!

Those things are worthless junk. That is all.:rockwoot:
If you actually want to monitor something, our going to need a wideband.
If its bouncing back and forth, then its working right. The gauge will tell you nothing though.
Oh, and where are you from in Indiana?

The only narrow band worth your valuable time is the Split Second, and they will soon be obsolete.

yeah it's bouncing back and forth. I just got a check engine for code p0351 and p0455. So i'm not very ammused. The p0351 is for the coil but the msd 6a is tapped into the coil wiring. I'm from wabash btw

Wired correctly, an A/F gauge will not trip a code. You should be tapped into bank 1 sensor1.

Hopefully that will get better results than the computer hook up like autometer told me!

You can still tap in up at the pcm. Just get a pinout for the front O2.

I hooked mine up at the PCM... It was about 8 years ago when I thought those annoying dancing lights were cool. i dont remember what pin i used.
Never had a problem, mine works fine. The only thing it's good for it letting me know when my cutouts are open, it reads lean unless I'm on the gas. But...I dont need a guage to tell me when the cutouts are uncorked, lol.

In the factory service manual. Look for the pinout on the powertrain control module for the O2 sensor. This will allow you to tap your A/F gauge in at the computer harness instead of at the sensor under the truck!! You need to tap into two wires.
