2002 RC R/T
m-1,stock throttle body, 14x3 k&n, 1.7 RR, 210x cam, gsm (spintech headers), dual 2 1/2" exhaust, hypertech programmer, mopar 2400 stall, transgo, slapper bars, hoosier 275/60/15 drag radials, battery relocation

What do you all think? It was my 8th pass ever 2nd time to the track. Not my best reaction time but I am getting better with that. I am wanting to reach the 10s (1000 ft). Any ideas? Is it possible with weight reduction and SCT? Does that 60 ft sound about right. Truck is bogging of the line no tire spin. Need more stall I think or mo power.

Does your track not run a full 1/4 mile? Looks like a decent time.

I think a bigger throttle body, sct tune, and some weight reduction could perhaps get you to very high 10's. With an 80mph trap speed you should be able to get high 1.90 60's and should be able to dip down into the 8.8-8.7 range for the 1/8. Dropping 2 tenths in the 1/8 should be 2-3 tenths in the 1000'. With those couple extra mods maybe it'll get you all the way to the 10's, who knows. Give it a shot. 4.56 gears or 26" tires instead of 28" could make it a lot easier on you, too.

Wtf! Are you serious! man i've been going about this all wrong the whole time i think i will dump my sct and all the other aftermarket stuff and go back to stock and use my hypertech maybe i will run 12's. Nice times what would that be in the 1/4?

Can you scan, or take a picture of the time slip and post it?

That's a good 1/8 mile time and speed.

only pay attention to the 1/8 mile time

sct would help more then the programmer and a 52mm tb, ya may want to start lookin into some heads and i hope nothing happens to the springs on your stockers since they werent set up for the amount of lift your running, if im not mistaken stock springs are set for .480 lift and rated .525 and with your cam/ rockers your lift is .544.

Were all the runs that day close to that time ?

I do have better springs I just didn't list them. Cam is ground for 1.7 rockers too. Cam specs at about .480 lift. Most of my runs that night were around 9 in the 1/8th at 80 mph.

Only 1000ft at my track. Centerville, Arkansas. Can you guys see the time slip?

No. In this case, it might be better to just attach it instead of trying to IMG it. Look past the bottom of a post for "manage attachments".

According to my Trusty Conversion Chart (http://www.eldemoniorojo.com/calculator.htm) for a 1/8 et, he'd net an approx 13.9 1/4 mile et. Totally do-able.
