The track photographer got his photos posted for Midnight Mayhem 5/16/08 at LVMS. I might end up ordering the series of photos that show the launch from my 1st pass of the night and see if someone can help me convert them to an animated .gif, that was my personal best 1.66 60'.

Yup, they're back in Atlanta being tweaked & repainted. In the next month or so I'm planning on ordering a set of black halos.

Back in October 2007 my best pass was 13.2@104. That was with PPH headers, OEM cat, single 3" exhaust, factory transmission/converter, R/T Wheels with 325/45-17 M&H drag radials, and 100hp N2O jets. The truck spun hard off the line, 408/4.56's/N2O was just too much for those tires.

Through the winter I replaced the PPH headers/OEM cat/single 3" exhaust with Spintech Headers/Spintech Dual 2.5" exhaust/No cat, the transmission was rebuilt and a 3200 stall converter was put in, and I swapped the rear wheels/tires with Real Pro 6 drag wheels & 28x13.5x15 E/T Streets. Spraying out of the hole my 60' dropped from 2.4 to 1.66.

Now all you have to do is get in the 11's what is the air like in nevada. I'd assume its pretty shitty. I am blessed with pretty good air and a damn good track. hence a 12.7 on a hundred shot (for a little bit on a stock longblock)

LVMS is a great track, but the DA is really bad.

When I raced on 5/7 it was 4800'.

I think the DA on 5/16 was ~5500', it was at least 10 degrees hotter than the previous week. On Monday 5/19 we set a new high temp record of 106.

If correction factors were completely accurate (which they're not), it would translate to a 11.3x pass.

i have been driving it for almost a month now....did the swap over to the 4 bbl stuff over the weekend

If it ever stops raining here, I'll be out. All I have left to do is run the hoses for the i/c and get it tuned. It runs awesome so far. Michelle's having a baby Wednesday morning, so I'm taking some time off work (I should be able to finish it up while she's preoccupied :jester:). Vader should be here soon too, so I'll have that to work on as well.

I'll shoot you some video later this week.
