MSVB if you can afford it.

They both do pretty much the same thing for shifts. Martin does a few extra tweaks, and you can tell him how aggressive you want the shifts to be. Not knocking Martin, but the only problems I'd foresee buying his VB is if something doesn't work right, then you have to pull it back out and send it back to him to get fixed. But at least you will have your stock VB to throw back in. Which is also a good thing. The transgo you are modifying your stock VB unless you buy a new one. If you have a local shop install it, then they should "fix" anything if it doesn't work right with hopefully no money out of your pocket.

Martin Saine...100%

Don't even think about doing it yourself. If you want to eventually have a street/strip truck, get his non lock up valve body...Makes the 46RE work like a 727 with the OD turned off, turn the OD on...It works like a stock transmission, only it'll shift better.

Has anyone bought a full tranny setup from him before? If so how are they built like upgrade wise. Is it worth it to just buy a complete setup off of him (tranny, VB and converter) oppose to having my tranny now rebuilt and put his parts in. I don't mind spending a little extra if it's built better. I'm a believer in "you get what you pay for" lol

Buy the whole enchilada from him and never look back.

BTW...Have you bothered to even read anything on this forum...? There's tons of posts about MArtin Saines transmissions, I had one, it was awesome....I sold it and went with a 727, I didn't want an OD transmission.

a built valvebody would be better then a shift kit but IMO i'd save my money and just bump up the line pressure and adjust the bands
