DIV 2 positions OPEN

If you are a Dakota R/T owner who lives within this division and interested in becoming a division Representative please post up.
Reps need to be DRTC members in good standing.


As of now, division 2 isn't even represented by anyone any more.

They're really just Division Representatives. VP and El Presidente titles are reserved for the exec board. Reps need to be DRTC members in good standing.

I'm interested but I'm still new to the site. But I am pretty sure there are some other guys that are interested as well.

Required:
1. You must be a member in good standing (paid member), and continue your membership for the 2 year (min.) term.
2. You must live in the area you are representing.

Not required, but highly encouraged:
1. Be an active user of this forum.
2. Have the desire to be of benefit to the club, and the willingness to devote your time to division 2 responsibilities.
3. Participate in DRTC executive board discussions and votes. (You will have
access to the executive board forum).
4. Make your opinions on DRTC subjects known to the execs, suggest ideas
for improving the DRTC.
5. Be a positive influence on the forum.

Duties:
1. To help host, plan, co-ordinate, and run any DRTC sponsored divisional or
national meet in your area.
2. Attend any on-line executive meetings on AIM.
3. Actively recruit new paid members in your area.
4. Act as liason between D2 members and the 4 executive members.
5. Volunteer to help with any request by the 4 executive board members, if
asked.
6. Help moderate the forum if asked by the board.

In short:
We are looking for people who want to actively participate in helping run the DRTC. We need folks who want to volunteer their time and effort to help
make the club and forum a place that Dodge owners want to be a part of.

If you just want a title, but don't want to participate, please don't apply.

I agree with Lewd on this if addictedblue is interested I will help out. I'm newer than both of you guys but I will try and help out any way I can. I'm interested and would try my best to fulfill the needs of the club but I look at this way. I'm interested but I don't think that it would be right if a member with more time and experience wanted the position. So if blue or lewd wants to be nominated I will gladly support them or who ever else is interested.

There are 2 positions open in D2.

1 position open in D5.

And 2 positions open in D6.

seriously i wouldnt mind stepping up to the plate as i have setup/ also helped setup dakota meets in the past and been a part of various dakota forums since '03 and owned a dakota since 02 which i have a passion for etc etc... my downside is im not "good standing (paid member)" at the moment which if need be i could be next month.


my reason for this thread was mainly to get something started on this as i love going to meets and hanging out others that have the same passion for these trucks as i do.

I will let Brad and others take a shot at repping if they want. If no one steps up to claim position #2 I will rep with Jason. I will always lend time regardless of a position to help the club and Division 2.

I like that recomendation as well. But I dont care where the g2g is held, count me in. I dont know what weekend daytona is, but Im game other than the 20-23. Family is down for the weekend. But Ill keep up to date with any threads. So just keep the info coming.

I notified the exec board that I had nominated Jason Thompson for 1 position in D2.
The feedback from the board was positive. The discussion ended there.

Since then, both Brad and Brandon have shown interest in the 2nd position.
It's now up to Brad to join the DRTC to be nominated.
If he does, I'll nominate both and recommend to the exec board that we have a vote between the 2.

If not, I'll nominate Brandon. There would be no need for a vote in that case.
