:woot: I found a really nice set of black durango leather seats today at the local salvage yard- No rips at all- comming out of a 2000 durango- the driver side has power though so I'll have to figure that out and I think I read somewhere else that I'll need to change the brackets or the seats will sit about an inch higher. But for $200 bones I couldn't resist - Lets me get rid of those cheap seat covers- I might even take the skins off and just swap them if thats easier. They also had a washer fluid res from a 4cy dakota for $15- picking that up also- plan to set up an electric fan and get rid of that huge fan shroud housing

Did you get those Durango seats put in yet?

To connect the power seats you only need to bring a 12V and ground wire to the seat connector. I'll try and get a photo showing how to wire the connector.

I'm not sure about the Durango seat tracks but the Dakota power seat tracks bolt into the standard seat track mount points in the floor.

they are not in yet- have not had a chance- I have to swap tracks because the rear bolts don't line up- I'm sure the electrical will be simple enough- Wish me luck- I'll post pics once their in.

DOH! The Dakota power seat tracks are offset to the side so they won't line up in the non-power seat track mounting holes either.

Here is the photo of the connector showing power and ground.

When they're in, let me know. I would like to see them and hear about the install.

the seats are now in and I absolutly love them- they match my interior to a T. The only issues I had where taking off the durango tracks- little tricky till I got out the hammer- I deleted the power option and my dakota tracks bolted right up to the durango seats without any issues. My only input is if you get a set of these make sure no one will be sitting behind you and you don't need direct access to the back seat area because these seats do not lean forward- the back will only go straight up- other than that they rock- here are a few photos.

They look real good, Josh!

Did you look into changing the side panel to get rid of the obsolete switches?

yes - unfortunatly the material kinda stops at the switches- Thanks DODGE!

it doesn't look bad because the top of the console has the charcole vinyl and the cloth is also dark charcole- I'll try to post a pic- I'm planning to do a custom arm rest so that middle seat console is comming out.

Ok The seats are in and looking good. A couple things, I noticed they don't slide forward and back as easily since they are a bit larger and rub against the 3rd seat console. Also I need to recover the center seat as I have have the lighter grey interior. Im thinking I will recover that, the door trim and rear seat all at once to match the seats. Either that or continue looking for a center console with no seat.

All black.... very nice I like it. I want that console you got!

How do you like the feel? Much better than the cloth

I ran into the same problems with the rear brackets. Just dripped out the rivits and used the stock dakota rears. Looks good...

way better than the cloth. the seat has more cushion to it and it feels like it holds me in place a lot better. i like the overall look of the interior with them better too.
