Hey everyone ive got a 2001 cc with the back seats (the biggest mistake Chrysler/Dodge ever made i honsetly cant even get my back leg in there with seats all the way forward). So right now im in the process of ripping all the carpet upholstery (looks like crap in my opinion), and im going to replace it with black/silver leather. Now heres where you guys come in i want to put a bad a** stereo set up, any suggestions? and if anyone has pics that would be great. Thanks.

Thinking about replacing the whole backseat?

A lot of guys including myself use the MTX Thunderform box. It replaces that plastic tray under the seats with a stock looking sealed subwoofer box. Fits 2 10" subs and has a spot for the spare tire jack still.

I found mine on craigslist expect to pay anywhere from $100 - $250 depending on condition.

3 12's in Scorpion angled boxes and a big ass amp. I got two Memphis 12's and a MTX Thunderform 4501 amp and it's loud enough for me. I ripped out the backrest and put some MDF in it's place covered in carpet. Then I mounted the amp in-between the two subs because it didn't fit any where else. But if you had 3 you could lay the amp across them. I don't have an amp for the highs though.

Please just don't throw a huge box back there, it just does not look good.

The MTX Thunderform with the MTX subs sound very good with the right wattage. Sometimes wish I had one in my 2000 Club Cab. If you're going to pull out the whole back seat please make it look good and not just a big box put back there. I'm guilty of this myself and had plans to make it look more natural then I bought my 2003 dakota. My 2000 CC is now more of a beater/winter truck then anything. Might even be my body and paint practice truck as I do want to keep the 2000 for a while longer.
