Anyone heading to the Mississippi gulf coast?

Its October 2nd - 9th. My groups been the past two years. Lots of burnouts last year led to them limiting registration to cars "appearing" older than 25 years. I have yet to register and still enjoy the event/casinos.

We'll be there again this year. I hope to have paint, transmission/stall, and a drop by then. Nothing like putting around with your 300hp and a big stall haha.

People doing burnouts is not what limited them to making the "Car and Truck" show to vehicles later than 25 years old , it has always been a hot rod, classic car event since I can remember and I used to live in Bay St. Louis, always have a great spot right on the bay every year....It was a bunch of bad apples that were being dangerous and disruptive to a family event; Like it has been for years..I attend every year. And unfortunately a few of those young bad apples got to see the inside of a Mississippi county jail..Jails in general are not nice but they really suck here. But yes, I'll be there as usual and I hope some Dakota R/T owners show up for the festivities. It's a really good event.

Figured as much.. the burnouts on 90 got pretty dumb from what I could tell. Didn't know about anything additional.

I still have my house in Bay St.Louis...Well at least the new smaller one up on 20 feet pilings..New building codes after Katrina..We usually go down once a month and most of the time during the season I rent it out weekly or by weekends...Pays the insurance bill...Yea, they always get crazy out on 90, but the Waveland, Bay St. Louis, and the other Po-PO forces across the bay bridge ain't nothing nice to mess with.. Last year a lot of younger people got to feel the Waveland and Bay St. Louis tazers...Saw it happen a few times. Still I hope a lot of R/T owners show up. I haven't taken my truck for the cruise, but I ride my bike and my wife drives my 64 Dodge to the cruises. Good times, good people, good fun.

I'll be out and about. I live in biloxi about a half a mile of the beach by the beau rivage. I'll be in my black rc r/t with skinnies on the front and dr's on the rear, my buddy will be with our group too. he has a white cc r/t lowered on Chrome r/t wheels and a black bed stripe. His is a head/cam, bolt on truck, and mine is a cam, full bolt on, stalled tuned truck. Look for us and don't be afraid to say hello. I'm dying to see your r/t in person.

It was a good trip, not like the typical trip. A buddy we were with lost brakes in his '62 skylark. So we stayed around the hotel for the weekend. Dang recaros wont fit the 6 people the truck used to have seatbelts for haha.

Haha I hear that. I was hanging out with your buddies with the mach and orange cobra. My house is just a few minutes from the beach I could have loaded up my tools and lent a hand.
