In retrospect I wish I had given more effort for a maximum speed pass, but after having so many electrical problems last week at the Tire Pros event in Phoenix I just wanted to make sure I could make it all the way down the quarter mile without the ignition fuses blowing again.
R/T: .420 (stoners rejoice - the other guy had exactly .420 as well)
60': 1.733
330': 5.070
1/8: 7.903
MPH: 87.44
1000: 10.307
1/4: 12.333
MPH: 111.14
Misc Notes:
LVMS - 4794' Density Altitude
3/4 tank of gas
20" wheels/tires up front
100hp N2O jets, 900# pressure - tank was not full (3 launches in Phoenix)
No N2O heater (need to wire it up) or N2O purge (need to buy one) yet
Truck hopped like crazy on the launch - needs shocks/caltracs bad
For some reason the transmission was shifting 1-2 at ~5800rpm, but 2-3 was at ~4000rpm. On my last pass of the night I tried a manual 2-3 shift and it worked, but at that point I was ready to go home and the bottle probably wouldn't have held up anymore.
The next time I go back I'll have a full/hot tank, use the 150hp jets, will try to find some lighter front wheels/tires, dump all the extra weight out of the truck, manually shift 2nd-3rd gear, etc.

What caused the electrical issues?

Runs better when you keep the fuses lit!!

What caused the electrical issues?
I don't know for 100% certainty, but I assume that for some reason this truck doesn't like me tapping the relay's +12VDC ignition signal for my SPAL electric fan and N2O system from an empty circuit in the dash, even though that's the same location I used in my 01 R/T (Viper fan+N2O) and both 03 R/T's (Viper fans).
How the N2O system was wired up at the relay:
Black/Constant +12VDC = pos side of battery, 10g wire
White/Ground = neg side of battery, 10g wire
Red/+12VDC ignition = tapped from +12VDC ignition dash circuit, routed to master arm switch inside cab, routed to WOT switch, then relay
Green/Relay Signal = Direct to solenoids, then grounded to truck body.
Master Arm Switch Ground = grounded to truck body.
The electric fan was wired up almost identically, with the exception of the WOT switch.
The first two passes I made at Tire Pros the truck would launch fine, but then just after the 1-2 shift the ignition fuse would blow and the truck would die. After the first pass I noticed that the 10g ground wire from the N2O relay had pulled free from the battery when the truck shifted, I had run out of yellow eyelets and had used a blue one, apparently it didn't grab enough strands. I did a quick repair in the pits, but apparently it wasn't good enough - on pass #2 the fuse blew again, and I found the ground wire loose again. I called it a night at that point, went to Vatozone and bought some spare fuses & some yellow eyelets. On Sunday I only had time for one N2O pass (ran N/A for the bracket), and the fuse blew again anyways.
What I did differently last night - bumped the ignition fuse from 40A to 50A, re-routed the N2O switch's ground signal directly to the battery so it wasn't sharing a ground with the fan switch, and also turned off the electric fan during the pass so I wasn't drawing as much power from the ignition circuit.

Congrats Steve!
DA is always a killer for us.
I think I would try and fine another alternate source for my 12v hot. Maybe your relay is defective somehow?
I always tie in below the fuse block and run my trigger circuit into the cab and back out to a new relay.

I don't think it's the relay because the N2O system did work fine for 4x passes last night, but I do have some brand new spares at home I can test out.
I may end up taking the N2O system off the circuit in the dash and put it directly on the battery - with the WOT switch it wouldn't draw any juice if I mistakenly left it on, and I don't drive around with the bottle anyways. I'm waiting to get a purge solenoid so I can also wire up my bottle heater and get everything installed nicely in the dash.

Nice job Steve
A lil more tweaking and you should have 11's, which is awesome at any DA, but even more so when you're racing in that horrible air.
