ok i got a new ride

so as most of you know i sold my R/T (i know i know)
and i recently bought a 2000 pewter Chevy Camaro Z28. black leather interior and T-Tops.100% stock!
so i have some modding to do :P
ill be sure to get some pics up here soon, if this F-ing rain would let up for a while.

Doesnt take much to make some serious power out of an LS1.. Plus the parts are a little cheaper too:drive: Should be pretty a pretty sweet ride!!

Nice color choice, pewter is sweet. It's silly how easy it is to go fast with an LS1. There's a guy on svtp going 10.2@134 with a h/c vette, stock bottom end. I have a friend in Jersey who has gone 10.9@128 with a "cam only" (cam and boltons in lsx speak) Firebird.

00 also not the best year ever for the LS1. you have the famed weak rod bolts and oil pump issues. rod bolts are hit or miss, some say it's bunk but i have a friend who can show you otherwise and he wasn't revving the hell out of his motor. however, if his car is a late 00 model then those issues might already be resolved.
