Ruin a classic mopar, and throw away "over $60,000" to do it:

I think I just puked in my mouth. That guy must be on some serious drugs to make that car look like that.

I can't believe it's had 12 bids...

Not only did he do that to a decent car, but other people want it! AAaahhh...

At least after 12 bids it's only up to $9600. Hope that pisses the guy off!

The chop looks awesome IMO.....The paint and front bumper are horrid, but nothing that can't be fixed

Awesome, or awful?

I love the looked of a chopped street rod--but man--ruining those great factory lines--I'm sure you are in the minority if you actually like that.

I like the chop too, but the body should have been sectioned and channeled to drop it WAY down.

Yeah, so then it would just look like a skate board.

Love the chopped top, hate the front end! If it had the stock front end and a solid color paint job (yellow or maybe even the purple) it would look 1000% better. The wiper cowl also needs to go so the bottom of the windshield moves down to the same level as the hood.

I think you're right about it being a 4 door car, the door looks too short.

Are any of the 4 headlights level or pointed in the same direction.

Looks like a Hot Wheels car built in real life!

I was thinking it looked like one of those muscle machine toys. I agree that the chop would have been ok.

yeah I like the chop also, although yeah coulda been dropped more... I like to see more of the old school chop/french/channel/section stuff... getting to be a lost art...

as for ruining... anything not factory therefore deviates from the original factory lines... custom is custom

Im so pissed at that. GOD

I grew up in Dearborn (right next to Detroit). My dad worked for Dodge (NOT FORD) so I love old Mopar cars and drove em on telagraph rd next to some pretty pimped out fords and chevis. And I always did well. but when someone does this to one of the best of the best. WTF.

Please put it to some good use.

you can tell that they have misguided talent.

Just out of curiousity, why is a '63 Belvedere so special that it can't be chopped up?

because it should look more like...

or

to me, chopping one up like they did is just a travesty to what the original car was. sure some were family cruisers but also it was the 2nd year of super stock dodges and plymouths. it's one thing to chop cars up to recreate a 40/50s style hot rod and trying to replicate something. there's a reason why you don't see other 63s looking like this... cus the majority of people think it's just not becoming of the car. people can do what they want though.
