Scored a free set of Durango R/T seats. They are gonna need a little elbow grease put into them but Im hoping they will clean up nice. Picked up some leather cleaner and conditioner spray up at the Advance auto store. Anything else I should pick up for these seats to get them to what they should look and feel like?
Quick pics with the cell phone when I got them home.

Yeah I thought they were gonna be a bit worse than what they were but, after a bit of cleaning they just need to have some leather conditioner worked into it. The kind I picked up doesnt seem to be doing anything. Im problably gonna take a hot wash rag and wash off what ive done with the passanger seat today and start over with something different.

Just washed them off in hot water and they already look better than the crap that I had sprayed on there. Guess I should have gotten the mcguires all in one cleaner conditioner instead.

My buddy owns a junk yard, and they picked up a Durango R/T at auction. Its got a salvage title, was run off into a lake. He had a 3.9 dakota in there but it was smashed up pretty good and interior ruined from rain.

You'll need all the "feet" that are rivited to the factroy Dakota seat rails and bolt them on to the Durango seat rails. Did you get the power seat harness.

This was a PITA I got the driver seat in and got all but 1 screw out of the dakota passanger seat rail. Ended up stripping the torx head. Think I can get a side grinder in there and grind the top of the bolt off later tonight or tomorrow.
But man do these seats feel comfortable, or it may just be that I was use to sitting on my busted seat. I had 1 spring left in the drivers seat, its nice not to sit on the floor board now!

Sub box is a project I started on and never finished. Think when I get new black carpet here next month I will finish that out. Thinking about mounting the amp to the back wall of the bed, as of now it just sits behind the driver seat.

Hit up www.leathertherapy.com. You won't find a better set of cleaning and conditioning products for leather. My folks have a small horse farm and they used it on all the saddles. I used it to clean my white Dainese riding jacket from a year of riding the Ducati and it brought it back to almost new. I use it on my race leathers as well. I have yet to find anything it can not clean.

The Mcguires leather cleaner/conditioner did alright but I just ordered from the link you gave me. Maybe this stuff will produce the results im looking for.

Since they were free, you could invest in a Katzkin cover and match it to your truck.
