I'm on my third set. Bought some with black bezels and clear lenses, one got cracked in a parking lot. Next pair were too "bubbily" I still have 'em if you want a deal . Just didn't like the look. [kinda like the tails on the '04 up Daks]

Never much for all the over the top leds and chrome and rivets and all manner of fancy s#!$ that they've come up with.

Wow yeah. That looks awesome. Maybe even just smoking them. I'm just trying to break away from stock, ya know? I agree that the new Dakota's taillights are shitfaced. LEDs are pretty cool though. The bulbs run cooler AND they use up less electricity. Not like I care, but it's something to point out I guess. Maybe even getting them and THEN smoking them. Unless I can already find a set like that. I'm sure they make them somewhere. Thanks a bunch guys!

Personally, I think the stockers look the best out of any tail lights that I've seen. On a red truck, they look great totally candied out, with the trim painted body color. I have a spare set that I plan on doing up like that. Here's a pic of a set candied, just paint the trim flame red and you're set:

I didn't like the stock tail lights on my truck either so I put painted covers over them. Here is a pic of them, I prefer them this way!
