Anybody out there using their R/T for Towing? I am towing a 3500lb trailer and the truck can barely make 60mph. Any ideas?
The truck is stock.

Changing in the air intake and a handheld tuner like superchips would pick ya up pretty good for a couple hundred bucks.
One thing to check is a leaky plenum gasket.

I towed with my RT a couple times and never had any problems. I towed 3000lbs of trailer plus a couple hundred in the bed up in the mountains and saw ~11mpg and no power loss at 3500ft above sealevel

Are you using a K&N filter in the air intake or something else? What kind of computer chip should I look at.
I am also towing at 3000ft.
Appreciate your help.
Thanks
Greg

yes I had an FIPK type setup and a mopar pcm.
On uphill grades I turned the overdrive off.

Somethin is up. I tow twice the weight with my Gen3 5.2l 5-speed and I can cruise at 70mph with no problem and sometimes faster.
