Engine mods:

-Ported barrel intake
-Ported exhaust manifolds
-JBA head pipes (99 RT) run into true duals, H pipe at trans X memeber and Dynomax X muffler dumped at axle
-HS non-adjustable 1.7 rockers
-double roller timing chain with tensioner
-brass cap and rotor/MSD plug wires/NGK zfr7f-11 plugs gapped to .047/stock coil
-bosch 4 hole injectors
-slotted Crank Position Sensor
-ported true 50mm stock TB with 14" round 2" tall, extreme lid K&N filter
-March underdrive crank pulley
-Black magic Xtreme 3300cfm fan

Dyno'd at 256hp and 333 torque at peaks. Don't have sheets with me yet (out in the truck). These are corrected figures on a Dynojet. Still need a tune.

That's pretty damn good for those budget mods. Nice work!

you have ported exhaust manifolds AND JBA headers??? i'm confused. you also have an H-Pipe as well as an X-Pipe within the muffler?

I think he meant he has the JBA tubes comming from the exhaust manifolds. Then modified to true dual. Then goes into a H pipe at the Trans Crossmember.

And he probally has a Dual I/O muffler, the ones where the pipe cross each other in the muffler.

I've got the magnaflow that has the x-design. Kinda convenient and saves space, weight, and money. Those are some pretty good numbers for your mods. Not a whole lot into it, but good figures coming out. Nice job

NO, I have ported stock exhaust manifolds and JBA head pipes, or some call them down pipes. I have 2.5" exhaust from the end of the 2" JBA pipes, that opens to an H, goes about 4' then there is a Dynomax X series Muffler to scavenge the slowed down gases from the 4' section of dual exhaust. I did this stuff after doing some extensive zero backpressure exhaust research.

Thanks, I figured the truck did well, just wanted to run it by you all to see HOW good I did. An M1 and a flash would be nice about now, along with an IN LINE electric water pump. 300rwhp??

the m1 is good for about 50 hp/50 tq. im puttin mine on tommorow hopefully. ill let you know.:woot:

The stage you're at now.. the electric pump conversion would hardly be worth the trouble.
I bought a high output alternator to compensate for the increased electrical load (fuel pump, water pump, nitrous solenoids, etc)

You'd see more dividends from weight reduction.

It's not worth a 50 peak-peak gain, its worth 50 hp past the peak where the beer barrel really falls off. I'd say you'll see 30 more peak hp with the m1

I don't think you're going to pick up 44hp from an m1 and tune, you're afr is prolly allready close given you make a good bit of power for the mods you have, and you allready have timming advance from the slotted crank trigger. I think a more realistic expectation is 275-280hp on that dyno, which would still be stellar compared to most trucks. I hope you can prove me wrong, but very few trucks even approach 300rwhp with stock heads and cam.

It would be nice to have some lighter wheels, probably a couple hp there.
