when i do the motor up in my rc i wanna build somethin to get me in the low 13's high 12's area, preferably 12's. preferably all motor. truck is not gonna get raced too much but maybe a handful of times a year. what would be the set up you guys would go with that wouldnt totally break the bank?
thanks in advance for replys, been lookin at stuff for a few days now tryin to figure what i should buy when i do a build.

Eddy heads, decent cam, tb, M1, rockers, Spintech headers, duals, stall (speed depending on cam), gears, slicks, tune (flash or SCT). Depending on the cam/stall/gears that could get you mid-low 12's on the motor. Weight reduction always helps too

Figuring your truck should run 15s stock...
cold air, exhaust, throttle body, M1, deleting the clutch fan, roller rockers, and a mopar computer or flash should net you mid to high 13s on "honest" engine horsepower and not be ridculously expensive.
Otherwise the cheapest route is a nitrous kit on a stock truck!
There are so many variables though. Good et will have to come at a sacrifice. (removing weight, sticky tires, etc)

a regular cab truck with full bolt ons should net you mid to high 13's. put a cam, heads, gears and stall it should be pretty solidly in the low 13's or high 12's

Gonna take some scratch in some form or another to crack 12's on the motor. A bottle will get instant 12's. If you only race a couple times a year, that might be your best bet.
I swapped ported Eddys onto my TKO truck last summer. I had $3k something tied up in that project.
A good example of a heads/cam setup is little man's truck: http://www.dragtruk.com/ENTRIES/T6PL5D7D7LSS.html
