Just curious if I can hit high 8's in 1/8th or 13's in 1/4 with a tune. Here's the thread with my mods. Thanks all.

With what you're running now, 8's or 13's could be possible on a flash. I picked up .6 and 4mph with a B&G flash, but part of that gain was also from more boost because of the higher shift points. But you can still see some nice gains n/a with a flash.

i would do all the boltons you are planning on doing then get a flash for it. But a flash should net you a tenth or 2 maybe 3.

You can flash it if you arent going to do anymore mods and are happy with the results.
Id buy a wideband before investing in a flash though. THis way you have some data to relay about the A/F range. Otherwise the handheld SCT would probably do you just as much benefit with the ability to tweak.

(Can they provide the wideband if you put a bung in the exhaust?) I'll determine after that whether SCT or just a flash. I really would like the SCT but the price of the SCT and dyno time might be more than I would like to spend. If they guy was familiar with our trucks then dyno time might not be too much of an issue.

With a wideband, I can dial you in pretty nice via SCT w/o a dyno. I have the spark curve down and it's just about getting a/f in line.

One of my recent 2002 R/T customers (and a member on here) feedback was this. And he had a B&G on there and switched to SCT :

"Truck ran a best of 12.55 @ 107 today. That's half a
second faster than last weekend and 2 MPH higher. I
switched to race setup tires wise. So far the
truck is 0.45 sec faster and 3 MPH faster than it ever
was before in full race trim."

I don't have any times or dyno sheets to back it up, but I believe your tune made my 408 quite a bit faster than it was with the Dallas Mustang dyno tune. I would highly recommend you to everyone with an SCT.
