"Mounting bolts should be torqued to 25 foot-pounds.
The bearing cap load bolts were then torqued to five foot-pounds. "

I need to torque mine too. The LPW site said 5 ft lbs for a chebbie, and 10 ft lbs for a FORD....
So we're 5 ft lbs?

My directions said 10 for both bearing cap load bolts and the jam nuts on them

I dunno. I just made mine "tight" by hand with an allen key. How many people here have measured the 12 ft/lbs for an M1 exactly every time?
