Well looks like I'm going to order my rotating assembly and heads tomorrow.
The list consists of:
Eagle cast crank , forged I beam bushed rods, wiseco pro-tru forged pistons,
celvite main and rod bearings, moly file fit rings with an internal race balance. Eldelbrock mag. heads with the chambers machined to 63cc's and a set of indy rocker arms. The reason i am getting the chambers machined is to set the compression ratio to 10.4 or 10.5 with a zero deck block and a .040 head gasket. The total price is $3265 From Indy heads. I didn't know they were so resonable on their prices a set of eddys from them is $1355. Now I'm going to need some suggestions on a cam I am still looking to keep this thing as an everyday driver.

man if i do spray it won't be more than 100 shot. The rotating assembly comes as a kit. You say why no forged crank b/c i can't drop an extra 600or 700 on the crank and the h-beams. In all reality i may put the juice to it maybe once a month.

well you have to pay to play

not trying to be a dick here....but i like to try and do things once...the right way

a tuned 100-150 shot may never hurt a cast rotating assembly...but then again it might if something goes wrong...like what already happened to you to begin all this

if you wanna risk it thats your choice....not mine

good luck with the build

Don't worry about a forged crank, the cast one is plenty strong. My 408 has the MP cast crank in it and I've sprayed the shit out of it. It ain't gonna break.
