Motor will be hooked to JM long tubes into s&s 2.5 duals with x-pipe and magnaflows. Saine s/s tranny with 2800 stall and 4.56 gears with B&M Mega shifter. Getting excited. :biggthumpup:

Just have to convert the s/s tranny from an 02-99 and in she goes. Just need the NSS and bushing to start and finish the conversion.

Hope to have it ready in a few weeks.

Got away with polishing the stock crank.

Re-used stock rods since the HP won't be high enough from what I read to be an issue with them. I think I will be fine. Unless of course....

I'm planning on Scat rods, stock crank...Forged pistons, ARP bolts I'm guessing your still external balance.

Moparts has tons of threads with guys running stock rods/cranks, on some serious HP.

Was going to build all forged, but gives me an excuse to build another one later on down the road.:jester: 68 Barracuda..:D

Still external balanced and ARP head,rod and main studs.

Need to make a decsion...Do what you did and plan for later or go fucking nuts now onmy spare short block

I did score a mp crate motor short block for a hundred. Going to build that on the side. Trying to convince the wife to keep the 02 roller to build a track truck.

Damn you got that for a steal! Thing looks in good shape, well when you decide just pm me. Thank you for your time. I know one thing it would be a big time saver and help me get running on the road faster by building it. Then pull the old out and store it and slap in the new. :biggthumpup:

You are the only one I have seen with this air filter setup. I was just wondering what you have to do to make the air filter fit on the top of the engine? I had bought one and tried to put it on but it wouldnt fit? Any help would be appreciated

You need to buy an offset baseplate.

Here's the part # - 85-3540

Also, stock hood will only clear the 2.5'' and 2.81'' filter.
