I'm thinking of selling it. Yep, I said it. With the fuel prices what the are, it's almost not worth it to drive the truck anymore. I thought this day would never come, but here we are. I'm thinking of selling the..........ram :-) I want a pickup as a daily driver, but the high diesel prices are negating any fuel mileage and maintenance savings this truck may bring. I'm probably going to a new Dakota crew 4.7, as this gets the same milage my diesel does, if I do anything at all. Anyone here looking for an 02 ram with 147K, clean ?

yep the economy is going to shit. I am wanting the war to end soon so we can have a good economic boom. Hell all i really want is the 600dolla refund check thing. I say we pull our troops and scatter bomb the whole damn place and put an oil tap at the end of it, then we wouldn't have to worry about shit.

Lower gas prices about 2 bux, you'll see an economic boom! ;)

What I want to know is, why are none of the candidates for president are addressing the high gas prices? (they may have, but I haven't heard) I'll vote for anyone of them that promises to lower it 2 bux a gallon. :jester:

They're probably getting big "campaign contributions" from the big oil companies........

I'm looking @ an 08 Dakota Sport Quad cab. Other than that, there's not much out there I would buy, ugly as it is. Either 2x4 or 4x4, don't care which. I need to have a pickup as a daily driver.

I think some of the newer 4.7 vehichles are flex fuel, might want to look into that.

I'm definitely glad I didn't buy a Cummins, but they are giving them away new now. How is the job going? If you don't keep the diesel, look at a used truck, not new fool. Sorry the fuel is so high for you diesel guys. Also a guy at work has the identical truck I wanted to another reason I am glad I bought something else.

Part of the reason gas is so high, is because oil is so high...and the reason oil is so high, is because the value of our Dollar is in the shitter. Dollar worth less, pay more for same amount of product. Guess what, it's a snowball effect from there. :rtfm::nana:

Yeah, 18 is stretching it in a 3.7L. I think H gets barely that in the Jeep 6spd and about 22 hwy. Lame but its got no aero. Wedding is fun, financial stress is a blast. I am trying to pay off the ring so I can start helping, lol.

Haha, shit I wish. They are going thru the Big D and they blew all their savings on her sisters wedding last year. So we're pretty much fucked. I chunked her mom out on the sidewalk last friday. H was in the hospital and she never showed up until after I got her home and the crack whore showed up without calling right when the poor thing finally fell sound asleep. Woke her up on purpose when she came in. I wanted to shoot her so bad! Ran her off after that and Heather agreed with my tactics. It was awesome.

Haha, good point. I'm staying out of her families issues. I think her psycho mom forgot about all of it already, they are meeting for lunch today. WTF?
