This shouldn't be in the national meet forum. It isn't going to be a national meet this year.

Double check back in last year's thread what the proper club title is so we don't get all dissociated. If that's what we used before then there's certaintly nothing wrong with it.

I probably won't register until June or so when I know I can go. I'll try to make it though

Ditto, that's why I didn't register when Jack posted about the discounted rate. I'm sure I'll make it again, but I'll just register when it gets closer so I know for sure.
I'm pretty sure a few other people registered when Jack posted the discount deadline...

There was if you registered before a certain deadline, which has passed (I think it was before the 1st of the year).

It was only $5 bucks off...I want to make sure I can attend again this year before I register. I'd rather pay $5 more than to lose whatever the registration fee is if I can't go.

I'm looking forward to taking pics of everybody's truck! You guys have some awesome tastes in modifications and upgrades.

Probably will come down to if I get my wheels and brakes swapped out by than or if it's still just siting on blocks. Another factor is spending $700-900 on the weekend or putting that towards a set of 2.02 heads. Probably won't know until a few weeks til.

Unless there's a last minute bid, it's looking like that's where we will be going.

Can you guys give a run down on the day to day schedule for you guys while you are all at carlisle? Not the show schedule but what you guys do!

Take that stuff and then add gas/food/beer/go carts ... probably come close to his figure depending on driving distance...

Morning, wake up and shake off any hang over. Get breakfast on the way to the fairgrounds with others or just head straight there. This seemed to go in a couple waves last year for the national meet.
Hang out at the show all day long, then head back to the hotel to clean up/relax in the AC or jump in the poor, then dinner (this went in two or three waves as well).
After dinner it's beer:30 in the hotel parking lot until we hear that the police are on their way.
There's less "planning" since it won't be the national meet location again. One night we all head over to a local go kart track and have a good time...

It's a fun time and good to get to know some people and check out others trucks in person. I usually spend over 800 for the weekend but that breaks down to $340 for the hotel, $250-300 for gas, $100 food/ect, plus spending money at the fairgrounds. Granted you can room with someone else and make the costs a lot less. Also make sure you go with us to the go carts lol

Sounds like a great time!:rockwoot:
Working on plans to try to make it one last year. Moved to WA, but the Durango is still in CT. This would be a great stop over if I can get the time off to drive it back. Every one planning on staying at the same place as last year?

Yep. Same place. They are called the Park Inn now though.

Most hotels fill up, if you're going, I'd book a room now.

Oh wow ok. Hey, I already registered at Carlisle like a month ago, so...am I supposed to get a ticket? Or something in the mail?? Or do I just show up and be like "I'm on the list." :drive:

Lasted year they mailed me my window sticker. If they aren't doing that again you go to a building outside the fairgrounds to pick it up. Than just drive up to the main gate and go on through as long as you have the window sticker.

I'm sure they'll be mailing stuff again, because if they didn't the line at the registration tent would be a mile long...as long as its before their deadline (I'm not sure what it is) then I'm sure you can expect something in the mail.

I'm going to get everything paid up for carisle tomorrow. Give tom B a call and see if hes making the trip this year. I've gotta find someone else going in my area cause I'm not putting anything in my truck bed :jester:

Turns out, I likely won't make it. Work schedule changed and can't get vacation during that time. And the Durango may not be finished by then. Completion date was pushed again. :(
